We’re proud of our excellent record of training talented graduates, to become outstanding teachers. In fact, it’s our trainees who say it best when it comes to explaining why the training we offer is the best option when looking to begin a career in teaching.

“The quality of training is of a high standard and it truly prepares you for the wonderful life of being a teacher…you will certainly be work-ready going into your ECT year as I can testify now” Adeyinka Akinsanya: Science Teacher (Graduated 2022)

I absolutely loved my training year! I found training through the SCITT to be extremely supportive- Even though I have finished my training year I still receive regular emails to see how I am finding my first year of teaching. The Pioneers Partnership supported me in becoming the best teacher I could be through constructive feedback and engaging CPD activities.” Bethany Jackson: Mathematics Teacher (Graduated 2021)

I thoroughly enjoyed my training year with Pioneers Partnership and I felt fully supported from subject and professional mentors throughout. Pioneers Partnership helped me to become a more confident and reflective teacher, fully preparing me for my ECT year. This year I have taught my first GCSE class, an A-Level resit class and even had the opportunity to train and deliver Phonics lessons to KS3 students. ” Olivia Krauza: English Teacher (Graduated 2021)

“The support I received in my training school was fantastic and the support from leaders of the SCITT was second to none. I felt I had every aspect of my training covered and this helped me to progress” Stacey Greenwood. Mathematics Teacher (Graduated 2021)

“I always felt guided in my journey to becoming a teacher and was able to draw on the expertise of prior trainees as well as experience teachers. Having both a professional and subject mentor provided me with endless support within my subject and in developing my overall skills as a teacher. There were many opportunities to meet other trainees and attend additional CPD opportunities that furthered my knowledge of all 3 sciences. When it came to applying for a job, I was given guidance on applications and interview skills. Time never seemed to be an issue for any of the mentors or SCITT leaders, they were always on hand to assist. The course is personalised and caters for your specific needs as a trainee, and I felt prepared to take on my own classes when becoming an NQT. I am now 4 years into my career, teaching at my first placement school and teach mostly KS4 classes. I am also the Transition Coordinator for the school Heather Campbell: Science Teacher. I found training through a SCITT to be incredibly supportive and having a school to start with in September and be based at meant I was able to create strong relationships with the department and students. Having both a professional and subject mentor provided me with plenty of support to develop throughout the year. ” Beth Foden: Science Teacher. Part of the Pioneers Partnership alumni community
